Chicago Title Insurance Company and Investment Property Exchange Services, Inc. (IPX1031) are pleased to announce that the Greensboro Chicago Title office now includes a satellite office of IPX1031.

A § 1031 exchange, as with any real estate transaction, usually involves balancing the competing pressures of speed and quality. At Chicago Title and IPX1031 we recognize these pressures and have designed our service to satisfy both. Working together our companies can manage all aspects of an exchange. The Greensboro satellite office provides you, and your clients, one place to contact regarding any exchange matter. Our companies provide service that is quick, easy to use, affordable, and backed by experience. Some of the highlights are as follows:

  • Speed: We can provide same day document preparation when needed. The documents may then be sent by email or facsimile to the closing table; thus, allowing the seller to close and proceed with the exchange.


  • Service: We prepare all documents required for the exchange; provide reminders of 45 and 180 day time limits; and, provide complimentary consultations.


  • Experience: Attorneys serve as office managers. Senior staff have a combined 70 years of experience working with investment property transactions. A specialized team of attorneys focus on reverse and build-to-suit exchanges.


  • Security: An unconditional guarantee on exchange funds from Chicago Title Insurance Company (not available in Oregon); $100 million dollar fidelity bond coverage; and $5 million in Professional Liability insurance.


  • Banking: Accounts with Bank of America.


The easiest method to begin an exchange transaction is to contact our office. We will request information concerning the exchanger, time and place of the closings, and a copy of the contract to sell the relinquished property. From this information we will produce the exchange documents and forward them to the attorney or customer. We will also assist you and your client throughout the exchange process. Our fee for a standard deferred exchange is $600.
